To promote recreational & leisure opportunities for all individuals to enrich their quality of life.
No person shall smoke, possess or otherwise carry a lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, electronic cigarette (“e-cigarette or e-cig”), vape pen or e-hookah, or other form or apparatus used for the inhalation of smoke or the ingestion of tobacco-related products, nor shall any person use chewing or smokeless tobacco, dispose of cigarette or cigar butts, or dispose of any other tobacco related waste, on or within 25 feet of any of these areas:
Indoor Facilities, bathrooms, warming houses, bleachers (outdoor confined spaces), dugouts, outdoor concession areas, outdoor skating rinks, outdoor tennis courts, outdoor playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool, outdoor skate park, sand volleyball court, and youth designated special events held on Grafton Park District property or sponsored by the Grafton Park District whether indoor or outdoor.
Outdoor athletic complexes*, campground, dog park, hiking/biking trails, cross country and snow shoe trails, open park areas, shelters/open air structures, parking lots, disk golf course*, and any area not listed on the Prohibited List.
*No smoking or tobacco products during all youth events, whether sponsored by the Grafton Park District or hosted privately on property owned by the Grafton Park District, to include but not limited to youth soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, swimming and volleyball. Youth events will be determined by Grafton Park District staff.
